Beckermann Delivers VAG EGR Solution

NEW IMPROVED BECKERMANN 804-0246 EGR VALVE FOR VAG VEHICLES.

Replacement EGR valves for VAG vehicles provided one of the biggest talking points in 2017. Most aftermarket providers experienced issues with vehicles rejecting the new EGR valve and with a labour time of up to 4.5hrs this understandably created high levels of frustration for fitters, factors and manufacturers alike.

For some, this issue is still ongoing but the new improved Beckermann 804-0246 now offers a reliable and effective solution. The issues stemmed from ECU software updates applied to the vehicles by VAG (presumably linked to the well-known emissions issue experienced recently by VAG.) The problem is complex but put simply; when the original EGR valves are produced the last two digits of the part number reflect the latest software revision.

If the ECU software on the vehicle has not been updated it will not recognise
a replacement part with a newer code. The new Beckermann 804-0246 EGR Valves avoid
this issue altogether as the units are effectively dateless, allowing the ECU to recode

the product in recent weeks and the upward trend is set to continue as word of
